Receiving a reservation request :
Once you've created your listing, you're ready to start hosting.
A traveler that wants to come to your place will send you a reservation request. To notify you, you'll receive an e-mail and a text message.
The easiest way to manage your booking requests is with the mobile app.
Answering a reservation request :
Once notified of the reservation request, you'll be able to reply to your guest by clicking on the link in the email or in the text. You can also answer directly on the mobile app.
If you can't find the link you can reply by going directly to the website and heading to "Host", "Reservations" and "Reservations requests".
You'll then be able to click on "Contact" on the reservation to then be able to chat with your guest.
You have 48h to answer a booking request.
Answer a booking request means :
- Send a message to the traveler via the Chat
After this delay, the booking request will be automatically refused.
After two booking requests automatically refused, your ad will be unpublished (you'll be able to publish your ad again whenever you want).
The aim of this feature is to help the hosts not being disturb by some booking requests they can't answer, like exams period.
Accepting and refusing requests :
Once you know if you can accept or have to refuse the booking, you'll be able to click on "Accept" or "Refuse" on the top right hand corner of the screen.
Your guest will only be able to pay the booking (therefore confirming it) once you have accepted the booking.
